Phoenix

Cultural Passes

Get free tickets to museums, parks, and other tourist attractions in Phoenix. Available at the Hayden Library counter.

Papago Park

Popular sites include hole in the wall. It is a great place nearby for hiking and biking. The Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Garden are also located there.

Tempe Town Lake

A good place for jogging, biking, and canoeing.

Los Angeles

One of the most popular tourist areas for ASU students. You can find everything from theme parks to authentic Asian foods.

Car

If you own a car, it is the best and cheapest way to travel from Phoenix to Los Angeles.

Plane

The most expensive but also one of the most popular ways to travel to Los Angeles. The flight time is about 1 hour and there are many flights between the two cities.

Shuttle Bus

FlixBus and Greyhound provide many shuttle buses to travel to Los Angeles. It is one of the cheapest ways to travel there. It is about a 7-8 hour bus ride. I would recommend FlixBus over Greyhound as some students complained about Greyhound bus service being late and being dropped off at shady locations in Los Angeles.
